Drag & Resize Anywhere Move photo boxes, logos, names, and QR codes anywhere across the canvas. Bounding boxes and 8 resize handles give full control.
Dynamic Field Binding Bind any text or QR element to any column from your spreadsheet (e.g. {{name}} or {{id_number}}).

Choosing the Right Output: PNG vs Print-Ready PDF

  • Lossless PNG (.png): Crisp raster images optimized for digital distribution, LMS uploads, intranet portals, or photo-card printers.
  • Print-Ready PDF (.pdf): Calibrated at 300 DPI resolution with standard physical dimensions (CR80 for ID cards, A4 for certificates and posters). Double-sided ID cards compile both sides into consecutive pages for duplex thermal card printing.

Zero-Persistence Privacy Architecture

Unlike legacy systems that retain user uploads and generated job archives for 24 hours, ScanPDF operates on a strict zero-persistence model:

Temporary Request-Scoped Execution Uploaded spreadsheets and custom templates exist only in memory or inside an isolated, temporary per-request directory created with tempfile.TemporaryDirectory. As soon as processing finishes and the output ZIP stream begins, all intermediate files are purged completely. No database rows, spreadsheet contents, photos, logos, or generated cards remain on the server.
